About Richards Scale Company

Richards Scale started in 1946 in Louisville Kentucky by Mr. Richards and Mr. Hendrick. Thomas "Mic" Hendrick joined his dad in the early 1970's. Mic transformed the company from a scale service company to a manufacturer of scale parts and accessories. Richards moved to its current location in Sellersburg, Indiana just north of Louisville in the late 1970's. Richards today is know for its junction boxes, load cell simulators, remote displays, transient protectors and signal processors.
